Perdana Putra is an impressive building on a hill top and was completed in 1999 with architecture features of Malay, Islamic and Western Classical style.

It is the adminstrative office of the Malaysian Prime Minister. Although it was designed and built during the era of the Malaysian Prime Minister Dr. Mahathir Mohamed, it was occupied for official use only by his successor, the current 5th Prime Minister of Malaysia Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

If you visit Putrajaya, this is must-take background photograph.

Putra Mosque is a real beauty. With its Persian Islamic design and desert pink, it is unique and outstanding as it is built overlooking the Putrajaya Lake.

You can see the reflection of the Mosque on the waters. The Mosque itself faces the direction of Mecca in Saudi Arabia.

We were able to enter the Mosque which was open to visitors then. Have to take off the shoes of course to wonder at the beautiful interior of the dome.

Many postcards sold of the Putra Mosque. Why not buy one and mail it back home.
