Limestone islands dotting emerald bay. | Inital approach to Halong Bay |
Legend has it that Halong Bay was created by a great dragon, hence the name.
I remember watching a James Bond movie supposedly of "Halong Bay" but filmed in Thailand.
Anyway, since that movie, I had always wanted to visit this nature awesome place and glad I finally did. |

Great pages, Norman :) | hopang Thu Apr 16, 2009 20:04 UTC What a destination with picturesque Halong Bay! The floating fishing village must be a great tourist attraction!
