On Top of the World

Most unforgetable experience for me was taking the Everest flight along the Himalayan range. And then going to the cockpit of the airplane and seeing Mount Everest as close as I can.

If you cannot climb up the Everest, you can fly to Everest and be on top of the world.

Hinduism and Buddhism

Nepal is where the Indian Plate and the Tibetan Plate collide to build up the Himalaya mountains.

Nepal is where Hinduism meets with Tibetan Buddhism and coexist.

Nepal is poverty with a smile. Did not see any begging. Was definitely impressed by Nepali people for their attitude to life.

Open Air Museum

At Katmandu and neighboring town centers, the temples are majestic and it was like strolling through open air museums.

The unique Nepali architecture will consume many rolls of films or use up your digital memory sticks.

Great info SL. Many similarities between here and Darjeeling, which I just loved. Great paper masks. And I would definitely do the Mt Everest flight!

Excellent 5 star tips and great pics - Well Done - from Mike and Shelley in that forgotten, very historic, suburb of London called "Barking Town".
