While Perai is an old township, Seberang Jaya is the new township created to move some of the development from Penang Island into the Penang Mainland of Seberang Perai.
As surprisingly, there is no VT location for Seberang Jaya, I have put all the tips for Seberang Jaya under the closest town which is Perai. |

While in Seberang Jaya, you can do some shopping and eating as things are generally cheaper than Penang Island.
There is also a Penang Bird Park and few places to do some exercise if you can caught by the traffic jam on Penang Bridge and have an hour or more to spend. |

Found the Vendor foods quite interesting..could not believe that duck was less expensive than chicken/pork. Duck is much more expensive in US. Apom dessert sounds wonderful. | bijo69 Fri Feb 1, 2008 14:09 UTC
