09/07 Toonces (Miss March) PETHOUSE Pet Of The Yr!

I was first introduced to Toonces 7 years ago (in Oct.) when I was working my way through college as a waitress (I had the 7 year plan) when my friend drove an hour and a half away with a box of 3 kittens announcing, "This one's yours".....I thought I wanted a male cat, but this was not to be. Toonces had big yellowy-green eyes and I could not say no. That evening she spent 8 hours in my work locker. I love her (and Sabs) like they're my own children.

Note: Sabrina often tears off her underbelly fur which is why she has a large patch of hair missing. Her mother (Toonces) did the same at one time. ?????

Note 2: Occasionally, I take pleasure in confusing my cats with a British accent.

*AWESOME FACT: THE PROPHET MOHAMMAD (SAAS) LOVED CATS AND ENCOURAGED EVERYONE TO TREAT THEM WELL. HE HAD A FAVORITE CAT NAMED MUEZZA. ONCE WHEN HE WAS BEING CALLED TO PRAYER HE AWOKE AND FOUND HIS CAT ASLEEP ON HIS SLEEVE AND INSTEAD OF AWAKING THE CAT HE CUT OFF THE SLEEVE FROM HIS ROBE. :-)

A Brief Intro w/ Silly Facts

I hate, loathe, despise mushrooms and onions. Bleh. And when I use such strong words as "hate" "loathe" and "despise" what I mean is that I threw up for 5 days straight after accidentally consuming a mushroom sliver. Yeah, I take things pretty far. I frown upon all condiments....unless it's cheese. I also cannot make a good cup of coffee (which I don't drink anyway) and I suffer from severe vertigo. In addition, I get violently sick on roller coasters (haven't been on one since I was 16) and I have a clown phobia. Lastly, I am tall with short legs. Think: wiener dog. I'm the only 174cm person I know who shops in the petite dept. for pants. :-( I'm a sea of obscure facts, really. Oh, and I adore British humour/comedies. I'm an avid fan of The Office (U.S. version) as well as "I'm Alan Partridge" (UK version.) I laugh at my own jokes. One last complaint: I happen to think I look like a Picasso painting. I love scary movies and I'm a huge music fan.......anything from Kiss, Blondie, Metallica, The Police, U2, The Clash, Gwen Stefani, Massive Attack, Madonna, Beastie Boys, Depeche Mode, Queen, Maroon 5, Nelly Furtado, Timberlake and The Scorpions. The list goes on.

Deep Thoughts: It's No Secret I Have Wharped Humor

*Just because swans mate for life, I don't think that's such a big deal. First of all, if you're a swan, you're probably not going to find a swan that looks much better than the one you've got, so why not mate for life?

*When Gary told me he had found Jesus, I thought, Yahoo! We're rich! But then it turned out to be something different.

*Maybe in order to understand mankind, we should have a look at the word itself "mankind." Basically, it's made up of two separate words "mank" and "ind." What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

*I think someone should have had the decency to tell me the luncheon was free. To make someone run out with potato salad in his hand, pretending he's throwing up, is not what I call hospitality.
