What would a visit to Thailand be without seeing the adorable elephants? Went here as a stop over of the cruise I was in. Pity, we were only here for one day. Hope to come back to see more of the country soon!
My husband and I rode on one of the elephants at the Adventure Safari.
I am amazed at the efforts of the people of Thailand in reviving the island and its tourism. This beach was badly destroyed by the Tsunamis of 2004, but it has almost been fully recovered when we visited.
- Pros:Excellent food, wonderful people
- Cons:Climate can be really warm
