The town of Pagudpud has, in the recent years, been known for its vast, pristine beaches and clear waters. It has become popular among locals and tourists for swimming, surfing and simply basking under the sun.
The more popular area of Saud now offers various inns and resorts that assures you and your family and friends comfortable accommodations. If you want to go for a more rustic, but definitely more quiet getaway, drive a bit farther to what the people of Pagudpud call Blue Lagoon.
Going to Pagudpud by land is a long drive of about 11 to 12 hours from the center of Manila - considering a couple of short stops along the way. Another option is to take the plane to Laoag City in Ilocos Norte. Pagudpud is a 1.5-hour smooth driving from there (no traffic jam). |
