Restaurant Name: Browns Pie Shop
Really nice, local ingredients in the pies. VERY interesting fillings like local rabbit and braised elderberry, duck and raspberry. Delicious, all. You get a plate of vegetables to go with your pie.
Favorite Dish: I've only been there once. I had the rabbit pie, which was absolutely delicious. For more information, the website has the full menu and prices.

The Bowl Full: The Bowl Full - Nice Coffee Shop and Restaurant

Restaurant Name: The Bowl Full
It might be the slightly dungeon-like feel to the lower room, it might be the extremely comfortable couches, or the aroma of fresh coffee and sweet cakes and passtries flowing through the air, but as soon as I sat down in The Bowl Full, I knew I liked the place. It really is a great place to just relax and have a coffe or a meal and a chat with friends.
Favorite Dish: I had a delicious latte with a caramel shot, super sweet. I also tried the Bailey's cheesecake which was delicious too... Price indicated below is for coffee alone.

The Pyewipe Inn: Cosy Pub/Restaurant in Lincoln

Restaurant Name: The Pyewipe Inn
This old style pub is a lovely cosy place where you can go for a few drinks with friends or have a nice meal. There are a few open fires around that you can sit near in the winter with a nice cup of coffee or a hot toddy if you prefer! Split by the bar in the middle, the seating is fairly private for such a large place and the chairs are comfortable enough to sit in for hours. It has smoking and non-smoking areas. I really like this place. There is also the possibility of holding a large function in the Cathedral Suite, up to 100 people. It also has rooms available from about 70 pounds per night.

The Magna Carta: Good, Cheap Pub Food

Restaurant Name: The Magna Carta
This pub has some of the nicest cheap pub food I have ever tasted. You can get special meal deals (buy one get one free and the like) on certain meals and the quality is high. The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly but it's usually quite smoky, unfortunately.
Favorite Dish: The beef and ale pie is DELICIOUS! You go up to the counter to order your meal and they'll bring it to you. Right next to the Cathedral and Castle, it's a great place to end your day after sightseeing.

Pizza Express: Very Tasty Traditional Pizza

Restaurant Name: Pizza Express
The pizzas here are real, quality, made on the premesis stone oven baked and very tasty indeed. The place is usually quite full because it's so popular, but you can go in and they'll tell you what time to go back if it's full.
Favorite Dish: I like the traditional lemonade. Any of the pizzas are worth it, you can even see them being made.

Oslinc: Ostrich Meat (it's healthy!)

|
Restaurant Name: Oslinc
Oslinc is an ostrich meat farm that also offers ostrich burgers to the public from time to time at farmers markets and other such street stall events. For £2.20 you can get a delicious ostrich burger or for 20pence extra, one with cheese. Ostrich meat tastes very much like beef but has less fat than chicken or turkey (roughly 1.2% fat rather than up to 9.7% for pork) and cooks in much less time. You can buy fresh ostrich meat at the markets as well; mince, roasts, burgers, sausages, even fresh ostrich eggs (weighing from 1-2 kilograms)!
Favorite Dish: I have only tried the ostrich burger, which is delicious!
