"The land of the poets" Liguria by Fabanna

Liguria is one of the most beautiful regions in Italy. The mountains, the sea, the emerald green and the turquoise blue mix in this land which was inspiration for many English romantic poets in the past, and now is a refugee for nature lovers and for those who want a taste of rough and traditional Italy.
Although many spots have been spoilt by a Elite rich tourism, and although small fishermen's harbors (jewels) like Portofino are spoiled by giant yachts parking there, and the small lanes are occupied by designer shops , still these places are worth a visit.
We are lucky that we have a family house in this region, in a very small village in the hill over Rapallo. Thus every time we visit the place we can explore the surroundings
