Pensacola Beach Travel Guide: 56 reviews and 120 photos

If you like white sandy beaches and beautiful ocean waters, you will love Pensacola Beach. It is still a little quieter than most places during spring break, so don't worry too much about that. With some great places to eat, plenty of recreation rentals, it is sure to be a great time. One thing to remember, it does get chilly in the fall, so be sure to have a jacket.

It is approximately 20 minutes from the airport and only minutes away from the main land. I definitely recomend renting a car if you are staying there since everything is within a short driving distance.

Although I have only been there on business trips, I do have some good recommendations for some of the restaurnats and the hotel I always stayed in which is right on the beach.

The picture above is of the hotel that I took from the fishing pier

Hi Carole, GR8T page and good tips. Wonder if the Driftwood Room still there downtown opposite big old hotel? Their signature dish is Fried Snapper Throats-sounds strange but what a wonderful taste! Doug
