"Phoenix" Phoenix by changeinlatitude

We went to Phoenix last April for Jimmy Buffett concert. If you have never gone to a Jimmy Buffett concert, like me until last year, put it on your list to do. WHAT A BLAST. The party before and after is almost better than attending the concert itself.

Any way, Phoenix is a very pretty town. The weather is quite warm to say the least. It's hot in the day and cool in the evenings in the Spring, so pack accordingly.

While you are there, be sure to take a drive through the Cheyenne Pass. It is breath taking. Beautiful lakes, wild flowers and very narrow roads take you all the way down into the bottom of the dessert. If you are faint at heart, beware. I was hanging on with white knuckels once we got on the actual pass roads and we were only going about 10 miles per hour.

The wild flowers in the spring are just wonderful. I dabble with photography and love to take pictures of landscapes.
