The picture above was taken recently on the back of our new boat called "Lands End". This was a beautiful sunset on the Mississippi River and the first we enjoyed on our new boat.
This is our new baby, "Lands End". It is a 310 Sea Ray and we absolutely love it. We spend every possible weekend on it and wonder what we did without it. Our dream, in about 10 years, is to do the Great American Loop. What a write up I will have for you then. In the mean time, I will write on our local trips on the boat throughout the years.
What an amazingly great time we had on this trip. The neatest thing in the WORLD that we did was watch the sea turtles hatch. AWESOME!! I mean there were about 70 of these little guys all headed out to sea and we actually were fortunate enough to witness such a wonderful act of God. The picture is of the "runway" (the morning after) they built for the little guys so they wouldn't get lost on their way to sea. If you look real close, you can see all of their little prints in the sand.
Bald Head is a wonderful place to vacation and do NOTHING!!! We all love it there and you will too.
Of course we have been tropical. Would you expect anything different. As usual, Cancun was wonderful. We stayed at Dreams, which is BEAUTIFUL!!
What do you do when you live in St. Louis and want to feel like a tourist? Why, go to the Arch of course.
We had family in town and went to the Arch for the day. Now, I know I live here and I see it a lot, however, when you visit the Arch Grounds, you really appreciate the beauty of the place. So, when you are in St. Louis, do as St. Louisanns do, visit the Arch. It is an AMAZING structure.

I am happy to say that Jolly Rogers has rebuilt. This pictuer is of the restaurant the day after the fire that completely demolished it in 2008. If you are at the Lake, make sure you go there. They have the BEST food and atmosphere.
