"Sosua Town" Sosúa by AndySmith

The town of Sosua used to suffer from the bad habits of the sex tourism industry back in the 80's but has bounced back with a vengence, there are 3 main hotels in town, These are The Sosua Bay Hotel, and sister hotels Casa Marina Beach and Casa Marina Reef, Sosua is quite small but does have an active ex pat community living there any any visitor to the town will have no problems approaching anyone for directions, reccomendations on things to do and see. I spent 10 months in Sosua and miss it a great deal, made loads of friends with the local and ex pat communities, Sosua is also only 20 minutes away from the surfers paradise of Cabarete whose nightlife is legendry on the North Coast.
