Hangzhou is the capital of Zhejiang province and lies on the banks of Qiantang River, about 97km from the sea. The most famous attraction here no doubt, is the beautiful West Lake although most of the time, it is covered with mist. Hangzhou is said to be a popular destination for the newlyweds because of its scenic beauty and also, it brings people back to some love stories from the past.

We arrived at Hangzhou around late afternoon. Before that, we stopped at Wuzhen for sight-seeing and lunch. Then, we took a 2 hours ride by coach to reach Hangzhou. Here, we met the local guide - Xiao Hu, a petite pretty lady with very sweet voice. According to her, Hangzhou is also renowned as a place for leisure/ relaxation ("Xiu Xian Shi").
