Dublin Travel Guide: 5,063 reviews and 9,248 photos
That I have been to Dublin. The first was with a tour for St Patrick's Day in March 2006. I travelled with PP Travel - see my homepage for a link to their site. So I can't give many tips, as it was all organised for me.
However, I visited again recently, on my way to Galway to stay with friends. On both occasions, I would have to say ... (and sorry to all Dubliners)
I didn't like it.
I think it has a lot less character than other parts of Ireland, it was a bit grey and bland, and other than the pubs, not much else to see and do!
- Pros:Lots of drinking!
- Cons:A bit boring if you're not a drinker ...
