I visited Russia on an organised tour by Go Russia.
We did the City-Break Tour of Two Capitals - Moscow & St Petersburg.
I would recommend using this company as it was an individual tour, we had our own tour guide for each city, and both of them were absolutely brilliant, so knowledgeable, fun and accomodating all of our questions!
As it was an organised tour I can't really give many travel tips, except to say go to Russia because it's fabulous!
