Costal fishing - Denmark
Costal fishing

The Danish coastline is public area this offers not only the opportunity for nice walks and swimming but also fishing . The costal fishing in Denmark requires a fishing licence (if you are age 18-65) you can buy via. The link in this tip. All of the income form the sale is used to better the fishing conditions and release of fry.

If you like to try the inland waters you need to buy and extra permit for this as the fishing rights belongs to the local landowner. The local tourist office will either sell this or know where you can purges it.

Billiard

At bars in Denmark there is played a game of billiard named Skomager (Shoemaker) it’s a more then 100 years old Danish game and is only played in Denmark. The billiard table for the game is a bit larger then a pool table and the pockets is a bit smaller in the centre of the table there is put up five cones, four smaller around a larger in the centre. You have a red cue ball and tow white balls. The aim of the game is to get from 60 points you start with down to zero. The points is made from hitting the two white balls with the red cue ball (4 points) or getting the two white balls to hit each other (4 points) you can only make 4 points from making whites or reds in a turn, getting a white ball in to a pocket (2 points) or by knocking over the cones with the white balls after they have been into a side cushion (2 points for each cone or 6 points for the centre cone if you only knock this single one over). This is all good points that you subtract from your 60 points until you get to or below Zero, the last point has to include a cone knocked over. If you make fouls like knocking over a cone (same points as above) with the red ball getting the red ball into a pocket hitting the red ball of the table (6 points) hitting the cones direct with the red ball (6 points plus the points for the cones knocked over). This foul points is subtracted from you opponent/s score. You can play it with more players then two and its played in turns so you only get one shot at the time.

The rules my differ a bit depending on the local custom. The normal thing is to play for a round of beer or a beer from loser to winner/s or what you agree upon.
