Obsession with bats and fascination of water.

The bats dominate the city its on everything you can imagine. I tried to ask around what it is with this bat too my surprise no one knew. I came to the conclusion that it must origin from the helmet of king Jaume I. Back home I did a little research and yes it has to do with the Kings helmet as a modification from the dragon on his helmet. One legend tell of a bat landing on the top of his flag when he conquered the city from the Moors October 9th 1238 and then added to the coat of arms. And yes there is a lot of bats in the area.

Water plays a significant part in the city as the warm climate makes it a loved commodity in the hot summer days there are fountains for view and drinking all over the city. But its not always summer in October and November its accustomed for the area to get heavy rainfalls that can lead to flooding. As in 1957 where the river that used to run down through lead to massive flooding and the city had had enough and made the river a new passage around the city. This has made room for a great green environment running as a oversize snake throughout the city.
