My Favourites - UK, Newcastle What can i say.........lived here for a couple of years after university and want a great city. The nightlife is fantastic, the best in the UK by my reckoning. As time passes the place becomes more & more cosmopolitan and sophisticated too without losing any of its working class charm. Thankyou people of Newcastle for making this the best place to be in the UK! |
My Favourites - Ireland, Dublin Ok so I like Cork, I like Galway, but I never lived in any of them! Dublin has a special place in my heart probably because just like Newcastle the people are great. Go visit the museums, go visit the history, go visit the parks, but take my word visit a pub, relax and you will come away with much more than just memories, but a whole load of new friends too. |
My Favourites - Southern Spain If you have a week and a random bunch of friends that will tag along, then what better than jumping on a cheap flight to Madrid, picking up the cheapest rental car you can, cramming one more than there is a seat belt into it and driving from city to city. Make sure that you take in Madrid (home of the party), Toledo (home of the sword), Cordoba (home of the coolest Cathedral come Mosque in the World), Seville (home of the flamingo - the dance, not the bird!), Granada (home of the large crappy ford car.....i mean home of the al-hambra!) and Valdepenes (home of muchas muchas vino!!!). Its a blast! |
