I visited Germany with my family for a total of 5 days, two days in March 2006 and three days in April of the same year. It was a memorable trip being our first time in Hamburg and Berlin and because we were accommodated by what we consider the most hospitable hosts in Hamburg. I felt that we were so special from day one till the end of our journey. Hamburg became our base during our European tour as we flew back to the city after our trip in Denmark, Sweden, France, and Italy.
Germany is situated on the tip of Jutland Peninsula. It lies at the junction of the Elbe River and so with the Alster and Bille Rivers with the centre beautifully set around Binnenalster and Aubenalster Lakes. The city of Hamburg is considered as an international trade city and the centre for both cultural and commercial of Germany.
Although Hamburg is not considered as a tourism magnet, I would recommend that you include Germany as one of your destinations.
All year round, interesting events are being held in the field of sports, film festivals, arts & exhibitions, music, and street festivals.
There are many places to visit in Germany, Hamburg and Berlin in particular. Tons of unforgettable experiences which I consider the most memorable and only one not-so-good experience in the city of Berlin took place. I am going to relate and share with you my observations and views of Germany and give you tips on all things I believe is beneficial. |
