Welcome to Lipa City!

I have been frequenting this city during my childhood until I became a teenager. It was because it is close to my hometown of Santo Tomas. It was a safe place to wander and have a good time. I can say that it is a place where religious people live and the city have a handful of famous figures like Teodoro M. Kalaw (Editor of El Renacimiento), Claro M. Recto (Statesman, Orator, and Philippine Independence from U.S. Advocate), Evangeline Reyes (Philippine candidate to the Miss World of 1972), Segunda Katigbak (First love of National Hero Dr. Jose Rizal), and Vilma Santos Recto (a movie star, former city Mayor from 1998-2007 and became Batangas governor in 2007)

When you visit Lipa City, you will have the chance to see the San Sebastian Cathedral which is the seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Lipa and the Carmelite Convent.

More importantly, resorts are aplenty in the city's neighboring towns. So come on down to Lipa, you will be glad you did.
