Welcome to Rome - Italy | King Vittorio Emmanuel II Monument |
In my 17 days of European tour, Rome has attracted my attention which is evident by staying a little over 3 days in this historical city alone. Although I am not into museums, I have enjoyed my stay and can't stop admiring the stunning art and architecture within the city. Rome has a considerable number of tour operators, but I spent time with my family sightseeing the beauty of the place by ourselves. As soon as we set our foot in the hotel, we were given maps and brochures and some kind of tips that were very helpful.
There's only one thing I regret after holidaying in this beautiful city. I just cannot believe I missed the Gelato that is so popular and has a long tradition in Italy. I can always come back, I said to myself. Yes, I will, not only because of the Gelato that I missed, but because Rome I believe, is so different from any other countries I have been.
To give you ideas and information on how you can make your stay in Rome a wonderful and memorable one, please see my tips and deals about the city. It will be a big help!
