Yes, I have good memories of Cyprus. To this day, it is still fresh in my mind how I spent my seventh visit in this small country. Small as it is, but big in the sense that most people welcomes its visitors with genuiness and treats guests as friends.
I am not going to tell you the history of the island but rather give you a brief description of what you can expect when you visit this beautiful country. Cyprus or "Kyprus" in Greek language is the third biggest island in Mediterranean Sea. It's major cities is composed of Paphos, Limassol, Larnaca, Famagusta, Kyrenia, and Nicosia as its capital city. Famagusta now belongs to Turkey which they called themselves Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. The Greek side of Cyprus called the Republic of Cyprus has been a member state of the European Union since May 1, 2004. |
