"Our first trip to Cyprus" Protaras by Suzze

Our first trip as a couple without our kids seemed like I'd lost my right arm at the time, but that was ten years ago and now it's quite normal to go off with my husband either with friends or just us!

We stayed in The Odessa Hotel in Protaras and it was really nice there. It was quite a small complex but really nice and had a really nice room overlooking the pool. As it was Nov it wasn't that busy. My husband even did a bit of diving out there and loved it, that was his first time.

We had a lovely time here and found the place very welcoming. The locals are lovely people and so friendly and warm.

We did the Troodos Mountains one day and I was convinced I would not be coming home that day as the roads are so narrow and the drops over the edge made me feel very uneasy! I don't know to this day how those drivers drive up and down these mountains without a second thought!
I swore I would never put myself through that again not knowing that I'd be back for more a year later with our friends.
