Canterbury Cathedral

I went into Canterbury today to meet my aunt for lunch. I really like it here as I love all the old parts and windy streets. It has a lovely atmosphere with all the continental outdoor cafes. It's a very cosmopolitan city and everywhere you go you can hear someone playing an instrument. You are spoilt for choice for a good lunch too with so many restaurants and cafe's. Today we went in the Cafe Uno. It's also a shoppers paradise, so many shops such little time!

Historic River Tour

This is overlooking the river in the main high street of the river tour. It's open from April to September. You can get this boat trip from the Weavers Restaurant Garden in St Peter's Street.

Been to Broadstairs many a time, but only once to Canterbury, when I was a kid! D xx
