The Royal Town

Kuala Kangsar is situated in the State of Perak. It is the royal town for the Sultan of Perak. There are so many interesting sites and activities to visit. Among them are Istana Bukit Chandan (Royal Palace), Sultan Azlan Shah's Gallery, Masjid Ubudiah, Istana Lama (Old Palace), The river of Perak, the first and oldest rubber tree ever planted in Malaysia, pottery activities in Sayong... and my favorite...shopping at Kuala Kangsar town. Don't forget to try Laksa Kuala at the riverside. Food here is marvelous and cheap.

Masjid Ubudiah

Among the most beatiful mosque in Malaysia is Ubudiah Mosque, situated at Bukit Chandan near the Royal Palace.

Istana Bukit Chandan

The Official Residence of the Sultan of Perak in Istana Bukit Chandan. The palace and its compound is quite huge.
