Rome

Vatican Museums
Let me start off with this, I do not wish to offend any lovers of Rome out there. This was just NOT my city. Perhaps I was just tired and hadn't adjusted from the long trip. Or maybe it was the fact that my sister was injured and had to hobble behind me on the very long walks. Whatever it was it didn't feel right.

Streets would lead me constantly in the wrong direction. Restaurants would change location. Large monuments would conceal themselves from me. Waiters would sneer and people would roll their eyes at my bad attempts at speaking italian.
Roman Forums
Well okay, it wasn't so bad. That was only the first 2 days. After I got a grip I was able to navigate pretty well. I saw amazing things. You know those things you've been hearing and reading about since birth. I mean it's Rome. It's full of traces of ancient life mixed amongst present day living. And I only saw as much as is humanly possible in just a few days. It seems we barely covered any ground, despite how my legs felt. It was quite a task I set for my sister and I.
Piazza Navona
If I were to go again I think I would feel a little more relaxed having already seen the major tourist attractions. Rome must be a real experience when you aren't worried about making it to this or that place on time. Also someone really has to show me where the night life is. Apparently it's limited here, but I'm a bar girl, I dry out before too long ; )

If I can offer any advice it's this, You can't expect to see everything in one trip. It's a big place with big things to see. Don't rush yourself.
