There is no stopping point.

SO, Here I Am.

I like to be constantly moving. There is always somewhere to go, something to see, something to experience.

I am determined to do what I can here until it's time to move on. I don't know where "home" is just yet. I need to see what's out there first.

I fill my nights and weekends to the point where I don't know when I'll actually have "free time." I plan my next trip before I'm even done with my current one. People tell me I'm going to burn out at this pace but I've been going strong for quite some time now.

I want to see everything. I must say road trips are my favorite. There is no better way to see the countryside. There are too many things you may miss when moving from destination to destination by plane.
Heading home from Sandy Neck
I'm a beach and a bar girl, I can't resist the call of either. I grew up on Cape Cod and I had a lot of both. I definitely look forward to late summer nights around a fire down at the usual spot.

I can't imagine living away from the coast. I love that gritty feeling of spending the day in the sun and the salt water. I love when my car is full of sand. Forget air conditioning.....I need to drive with the windows down. Nothing feels better than barefeet, sunsoaked skin, and salt in your hair. (But wear sun block kids!)
I have really only begun what I consider to be a long career of travel, but I've covered more ground than I thought I would at this point.

Like most VTers out there, I'm sure, I have my next 5 trips already planned in my head. It's hard to be a part of a community like this and not imagine all the possiblities.

VT is a welcoming place and I have taken so much from reading all of those many pages that everyone has put so much time and devotion into writing. It's wonderful to find others who share this passion.

That being said, you are all a bad influence. My bank account will suffer for this. How dare you make me travel, meet people, and enjoy myself! Shame on you ; )

Where to Next?

I feel like 2006 was my breakthrough year for travel. After getting to Moscow I feel like I can do anything, and oh yes, the plans have been forming.

I *try* to be good most of the time but really I am just gearing up for mischief and mayhem. The plan for '09 thus far includes: Montreal, Jamaica, Las Vegas, Aruba, & Portland. Of course there is always time set aside for some mystery trip that has yet to form.

There's Always an Excuse

It's time for those great summer nights. Happy BBQ Season!

Well hello there young lady, and a birthday one at that. The bad news is that you are offcially getting old and should soon start actually respectfully! The good news being that you can start getting away with moments of memory loss and dizziness! =)
