None of us really wanted to move to Mississippi. And then eight years later, none of us wanted to leave. It gets under your skin before you know it! This is Rowan Oak, Faulkner's home. He liked to do the Southern Gentry act to the hilt, although he was not from Old Family. His house is now owned by the University of Mississippi and is open as a museum. |
