Amman is kind of a weird place. It's used as a meeting site or a "base" for day trips to Jerash, Madaba, or even Israel. But there isn't all that much to DO in Amman. After just a day, most of my visitors would ask, "What else is there to do here?"
Amman is arranged handily along the 'Circle Road.' This is a remnant of the Old Amman layout along the tops of seven hills. The circles are conveniently named First Circle, Second Circle, etc., and you will find a lot of businesses have an address like 'off Second Circle.'
I will post a picture of Amman soon. |
