"Worcestershire - A Land of Fruitfulness" Worcestershire by illumina

Worcestershire is perhaps the second "Garden of England" after Kent, and the Vale of Evesham is particularly renowned for its fertility. It is also a county of great historical significance, and in my humble opinion, one of the most beautiful areas of the country (yes, I'm biased, I grew up there!)

Since Knightwick hasn't been given a page of it's own, I'll write about it here. It's a tiny little village on the river Teme, in the far west of the county, right on the border with Herefordshire. I visit quite frequently with my parents as it's not far from where they live, and the Talbot inn there is a pleasant place to have a morning coffee / afternoon tipple. The views are gorgeous, and there's a pleasant walk across the Teme over to the butcher's shop and doctor's surgery.
