Changi Village Hotel: Great Stop-over hotel

We had an 18 hour stay-over waiting between flights. Too long to spend at the airport. Took a gamble and booked The Changi Village Hotel online as its just a few kms from the airport. We could not have been happier. Set in the quiet Changi village you are close to the bay with a small beach, nature walks, and great eateries. We've decided to stay in the Village on our next Singapore stay. The hotel is clean, modern and staff very friendly. Couldn't have been happier.

GRAND PARK PLAZA: Middle-upper range hotel

This is a very nice place to stay but a bit pricey. We are however past the backpacker stage and need a good nights sleep with a bit of comfort. Backpacking and tent days are over.

Directions: Near City Hall MRT and St Andrews Cathedral ( a good point of reference)
