We came for the harmonious configuration of the Plaza Major but left with undying respect for the White Storks and just a little disrespect for the forefathers of the town Pizzaros who are now vilified for their actions against the Incas. Is it pure coincidence that Ludwig van Beethoven chose "Pizzaro" as the name of the Bad Guy in his only opera, Fidelio?? |
