"Nancy - Art Nouveau" Nancy by pedroswift

A superficial exploration of the whole vt Nancy Travel Guide reveals a decided lack of information on the Musée de l’École de Nancy.
It gets a mention by two of the top ten writers. Considering the importance of "Art Nouveau" to the city of Nancy and the part played by the "Ecole de Nancy" in that movement, I'm astounded that the Musée has not been visited by everyone. Perhaps the title "Ecole" conjures up an exhibit of school desks and slate pencils.
Perhaps everyone has visited Nancy on Monday or Tuesday when Musée is closed??!!!
I'll help you get there if you want!? ....... "If you want??" of course you do!!
As an alternative to getting a map and walking (40 minutes from Stanislas
Square) use public transport.
Walk or get a tram to "Nancy Gare" stop. From Place de la Republique, the major Nancy bus terminus (You can not miss seeing it - it's right there) -
Take bus 123...that IS easy to remember. Picture above.

Get out at stop "Place Paul Painlevé". Walk 200 metres along rue du Sergent Blandan to Number 38. Vous et ici!

To get back to town. Walk 200 metres to the right to bus stop "Nancy Thermal". On arrival, you could have got out there if you had desired....see pic.

For more bang for your bus ticket don't get the bus straight away go a few more paces past termal bus stop along rue Sgt Blandan to rue Félix Faure and check out the architectural style of some of the houses in the street (number 26 rue Félix Faure, for example).
