Lillooet Travel Guide: 13 reviews and 42 photos

Just getting started....

This is a very busy time for me work-wise, and so this page is going to be under construction for awhile.

I promised someone I would get pics posted here ASAP, so here goes.

From Pemberton to Lillooet

It's sort of hard to tell in this picture, but this road is paved - really! It is definitely spectacular for its entire length.

Free Camping

We pulled in off the road one night and camped here for free. It was a beautiful spot - no one else around for miles!

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:Remote, few people, you can enjoy the natural surroundings.
  • Cons:Remote, few people - tough to find supplies.

I LOVED the fact that this road was occasionally signed.."End of Slide Area"...They didn't put up signage to indicate "The Beginning...." One of those things that make ya go..."hmmmmmm"..Great photos JO....and happy memories..

Agree with you entirely, the road to Lillooet and further was fantastic! We like to get off the beaten track.

Jo, I'm looking forward to your work slacking off so I can see some progress made on this page!! This and your Nelson page have convinced me that it is time I got over the Rockies and did some serious BC driving (last time was 1982)!
