Nanton Travel Guide: 11 reviews and 34 photos

Nanton is in the heart of cowboy country. There are lots of agricultural-based activities here, as well as some eclectic shops, a ton of antique stores, the Lancaster air museum, and a handful of really good restaurants.

While I don't golf, the 18-hole golf course is very popular, with people travelling out from Calgary to golf here regularly.

The Nanton nite rodeo is held every Friday evening in July and August. Many well-known professional rodeo participants have got their start at the Nanton Nite Rodeo.

That Poker Run & Ride sounds like a lot of fun to me, as does the menu at Blu's Bistro!! You gotta love these small Canuck towns - nice to see that it has been looked after. Excellent tips here (just like your Waterton/Glacier ones!).

Back when I played golf, Nanton was on the tour. It was well worth the drive.
