Restaurant Name: Seafood Market and Restaurant
It was a great tourist experience. Yes, this restaurant is much more expensive than other local restaurants but this is what you remember 10 years later as part of your Bangkok experience.
First you buy food and wine. They have a variety of local fish, lobster, crayfish, shrimp, clams, mussels, crabs, fruits and veggies. They also have fine French and Australian wines. They have a Japanese selection as well -- sushi, sashimi, tampura, etc.
After you pay, you take a table. Waiter will ask you how you like them cooked, or you can consult a chef. We ordered a lot of grilled shrimp, tom-yum with assorted seafood, garlic morning glory, deep fried fish, etc.
It cost about US$400 for a group of 8 of us, including wine and tips. It was a lot of great food. I wouldn't say I would go there every time I go to Bangkok, but if you have not been there, you owe it to yourself to give it a visit.
