A Busy, Dirty, Exciting City The first glimpse of Crete for many travelers is the port or the airport of Heraklion (Iraklio). Both are dirty, busy, dusty, and generally uninviting; most travelers will tell you to spend as little time as possible here. I might agree. Stlll, Iraklio is not without its charms. |
