Tradition: it's what holds the key to Seville's true beauty. A major part of its tradition is the April Fair. Literally, 24/7 of dancing, drinking, eating, flirting, enjoying the arrival of spring. You go to see and be seen. It's so popular that everyone (and I mean, everyone) is welcome to partake in the festivities. |
| | History: I believe that if you truly study and look at the flag of a country, it can tell you alot about its culture and personality. Red for blood, fire and passion. Yellow for sun, glare and hope. Given the previous analogy, you are free to your own interpretation. |
What you miss by sight can be gained in other senses. Seville is definitely not an ideal place for the blind but, on the other hand it smells are unique and distinctive. The array of mediterranean cuisine has so much to offer the taste buds. The architerture invites you to carress its bricks, stones and tiles. And hear, distant tapping of shoes from the dance studios, strumming of guitars in open squares, the chattering of locals in the produce markets and the familiar sound of children playing in the streets. | | |
