I may be big but I'm really quite little

by Elsie_Girl - last update: Feb 9, 2006

Swings are fun!

All about me : - ) *I know you're excited!*

I was born and raised in Brisbane, Australia, and don't worry, I know that nobody has heard of it. So for those that are interested it is about an hours drive north of the Gold Coast.

I am 5'11" or 183cm but despite my ridiculous height I am still a tiny little munchkin at the fun-loving age of 18.

I am currently studying Accounting at Queensland University of Technology and am hoping to be a Business Analyst when I grow up. But for now, I work for in an accounts department in the leading commercial HP dealership in Australia.

I love most of all to sit back and relax on a beach, on a couch, on the floor - whatever happens to be available at the time. Despite this you will catch me at a gym three times a week because - EXERCISE RELEASES HAPPY HORMONES! :-P

Most importantly, as most of my time is spent being serious and adult-like, I like to spend the rest of my life having fun, laughing lots and playing on childrens playground equipment!

My Travelling Adventures

As I am still a young little munchkin I haven't travelled very far.

I went to New Zealand in 2002 for the school Open Volleyball Tour and to Japan in 2003 on the school Japanese tour. Worked out much cheaper as we had fantastic discounts on accomodation or stayed with homestay families. This did however, leave me with little knowledge to help anyone else out on their travels.

The next little trip planned is in January 2007 for a 6 week adventure around Europe. Our current itinerary is as follows (but is changing on a day to day basis):

Scotland - Edinburgh (for new years)
England - London
France - Paris (followed by a whole lot of other small towns and major cities around france)
Italy - Piza, Rome, Venice, Sicily and many more.

After this we got a little stuck - but the planning continues. Alicia (my best buddy) and I are hoping to meet up with a couple of our cute little VT buddies in some of these places.

I am also planning on going to Africa for six months but as uni ties me to Australia with a maximum of a four month break and work isn't generous enough to give me that much time off, I'll probably put that one down for the second half of 2008.
Woh - love that uniform (scary!!!)
Before my formal in 2004 - check out the Datto!!!!

Some other random things I love!

I don't really like cars but my dad built a hot-rod (a 1923 Ford T-Bucket called Merlin) and it is so fun to drive that around! It goes really fast and no one else has anything like it - that's why I love it. The Nostalgia Drags are on in two weeks time where my bother will be dragging it. Last year my dad got runner up and its a really fun event. If you are ever in Australia you should definitely go and watch one of these events. I will have plenty of fun pictures of what happened in a couple of weeks time!

For more info go to the Nostalgia Drags Website

My other car love is my datsun. It's my little pride and joy and everyone loves it. If the engine bay was big enough to put a bigger engine in it I would, but for now I'll stick to my four speed, non air-conditioned, vinyl seated ute.

Other than that - the funnest thing in the world is getting dressed up! Going to balls, my formal, clubbing - anything! As long as its girly, you can dance and have a good time - I'll be there.
