Visiting Johor Bahru is almost a routine for myself. Here, I need to visit a few of my company's branches which are situated scattered within the Johor Bahru city.

But as my main purpose of visiting Johor Bahru is strictly work related, I only have few times to spend to know and exploring the city.

Johor Bahru surely the biggest city in Southern region compared to Melaka and Negeri Sembilan. The city is covered with lights at night making it looks very lively and beautiful.

From my observation, Singaporean loves to go to this city for shopping purposes as it is said here is cheaper compared to Singapore. The border between Singapore and Johor Bahru is the Strait of Tebrau.

Traffic is kinda heavy especially before and after office hours. The worst area of traffic jammed is the one that near to the Malaysia/Singapore checkpoint of Immigrations and Custom.

As this is a city, there are few tall building here in Johor Bahru. The development here is surely going to raise rapidly as Malaysian Prime Minister Dato Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi recently announcing that Johor Bahru and district its surrounding will be upgraded to a Commercial Triangle and modern city.
