Hi, my name is Azri and I'm from Melaka, Malaysia.
I love travelling and I had covered all the states in Malaysia.
Recently, I am having this desire to travel overseas, another country, see different traditions, meet & make friend with different races, taste different foods, feel different weather and so on. I did my first International visit to Shanghai, China on 17th September 2006. Its surely a new experience for myself.
I plan to visit few more International places and destinations, starting with nearby neighbouring country such as Singapore (always look over the Strait from Johor Bahru but never had a chance to visit) - VISITED ON 9th October 2006, Thailand (Phuket looks nice & Bangkok looks lively), few places in the island of Indonesia (being informed by friends about Medan & Tanjung Balai) and also Boracay, Phillipine is also on my list.

|  | My Hometown ~ Melaka
I was born here of course in March 1975. But only in year 2000 I start to live in Melaka. My primary schooldays & my secondary schooldays, I did all in Kuala Lumpur & Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan. Even I graduated from a local college in Kuala Lumpur. Never had a chance of knowing much about my hometown but during those years, I frequently travel to Melaka with my parents visiting my grandmother. Now, after 6 years staying in Melaka, I love my hometown a lot. The environments are so peaceful, away from city havoc and the people are friendly. In Melaka, I'm staying at Tanjung Minyak district which is a 20 minutes drive from Melaka town and 10 minutes drive to the famous Klebang beach. I am working with a local company here based in Batu Berendam. Batu Berendam Airport is a landmark here and there will be a massive expension of this airport to cater big commercial aircraft such as Boeing 737 and Airbus A320. It is a good step to boost the travel industry here in Melaka because the nearest International Airport to Melaka is the Kuala Lumpur International Airport which is 1 1/2 hours away.

| | Frequent Traveller?
I can be considered as a frequent traveller as the company that I am working now are having more than 20 branches scattered within the Southern Region of Peninsular Malaysia (Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka & Johor). My planned schedule of visiting these branches makes me travel to those places at least minimum of once per every 6 months unless there are some special requirements or requests that involves my participation. To cover this schedule, I need to visit at least 4 to 5 branches per month. Some visits require me to stay overnite and that event will make me more familiar with the places. Few name of those district are Seremban, Kuala Pilah, Jelebu, Port Dickson, Alor Gajah, Mersing, Johor Bahru, Pontian, Kota Tinggi, Kluang, Batu Pahat, Segamat, Sungai Buloh, Ampang, Tangkak etc.

I would like to thanks all my VT friends that prays and wishes me luck before and after my Cervical Spine Surgery.
Especially to chiabh, who visited me just before I was being pushed to the OT Room, idahayat (visited me at home after the surgery) and also Onedragon and Helenbb, who always emailing and asking about my condition almost every week.

When you have decided to visit the Philippines, consider Boracay, Palawan, and Cebu City. You can fly direct from Cebu City to other Asian countries. Drop me some lines if you need help. |
