I went to Honduras for two weeks with my mother on a mission trip. Our main job was painting the church's new kitchen walls and varnishing the old church doors. It wasn't hard, but my arms would be sore after painting the ceiling! In our off time we would walk around the small town of Camasca and take pictures. It was very rural; the women washed cloths by hand, only 3 people in the town owned a truck, and electricity had just gotten there a few years ago. The local people were very kind and took good care of us while we were there.

Camasca is a bumpy 4 hour drive from the capital, Tegucigalpa. The capital was very different from Camasca. It was pretty much like a city you would see in the states.

Unfortunetly I can only provide pictures but no tips on where to stay or how to get anywhere. This is because we stayed where the missionaries stayed, which is not opened to normal tourist.
