Fladungen is the northernmost city in Bavaria. It sits in a valley on the eastern side of the Rhoen, bordered by Land Hessen in the West, and Land Thueringen to the north. |
| | The city wall was erected in 1400, with five towers. The towers are still standing, and a path circles the town along the wall. |
| | The inner parts of town still contain many buildings from the middle ages. And, with the Freiland museun, Fladungen is a good place for those wishing to get a better idea of life in the Rhoen. |
