When getting off the boat to stay on this island, you step into another world, a world outside the usual time zones. The rhythms of waves washing the shore, the tides coming in and going out, the sun and moon rising out of the sea on one side of the island and sinking down on the other, these take the place of the clocks you left behind. An endless procession of sea life plays out their lives under the sea all around, while a coconut drops now and then from one of the palm trees near your cabana. You have entered "NTZ" the Natural Time Zone, the Chill Zone.
It's just you and a few other guests, the family who lives here, and few friendly staff, all sharing the tranquillity of this small island, a world apart. The only perceptible, though remote, threat would seem to be a coconut falling on your head or else you stubbing a toe on a hermit crab wandering around in its home shell. The most onerous task you decide to put before yourself might be to get the husk off a coconut to get at the milk and meat inside.
The boat brings you down Sittee River and from the coast to the island on Sunday morning. It doesn't leave there to bring you back until the next Saturday, so relax and enjoy. No deadlines, no worries. What day is it? Who cares? No electricity means no media and no appliances to interfere with divine simplicity. Put on your swim suit and snorkel gear and explore the corral reefs, rent a kayak and explore the neighboring coral islands, go out with the dive boat for a scuba expedition, go fishing, lie in a hammock and meditate on the waves rolling in.... Or do nothing at all. It's all bliss.

Glovers sounds like paradise.
I am so happy to find your tips. I came across the Atoll in the deals section. Wanted to see if I could find more info and voila! Terrific, thank you.
