European explorers were drawn to Rio because of its harbors, which have been named one of the world's seven natural wonders. A majority of the city's hotels are along Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. They are either across the street from the ocean or a few blocks away.

Nice page, we covered some similar territory. Dinner at Porcao, game at Maracana and late night at Lapa were highlights for me as well... Unforgettable city, for sure...
