Fifty years ago this desert city in the middle of nowhere started to really flourish with the help of business ventures. It is still the same today. The property development teams are infatuated with gambling as much as the past moguls and us regular folks: bigger casinos, more attractions, more rooms, etc . (Picture on the right: look at the size of that slot machine! It's big, it's bad but is it better??)

The first time I was there, I was seven. Kids couldn't do much those days; today Las Vegas has transformed into a family affair. You can go there to enjoy yourself without having to whip out $10 for a five second game of Blackjack or showing your ID card. It's not a dream- this fantasy city has evolved since its birth and has and will continue to do so with more big projects in the future.
