My husband is a member of the US military. We've been in the UK since July 2005. We volunteered for this tour because of all the travel opportunities it offered us. I don't yet know what I want out of my travels, other than fun photos. I'm an avid scrapbooker and a learning photographer, so I'm always on the lookout for photo ops. I love to cook, and love food. It's so exciting to sample new cuisine and find great, off the beaten path places. I'm also a crazy music fan. I love festivals and concerts, or just sitting in the grass and listening to my iPod.
I'm trying to keep a positive outlook on our time here by seeing as much as possible. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I don't plan on wasting it.
