"My First Visit to the Czech Republic" Koprivnice by Tatraman

My daughter organised the visit to Koprivnice with the sole purpose of visiting the Tatra Museum. We flew from Manchester to Prague with BMIbaby for a VERY economical return fare for a five day/four night stay, two nights in Prague and two in Koprivnice. We flew to Koprivnice. Czech Airlines offered a much reduced fare for a two night stay in Koprivnice. I am a retired mechanical engineer with an interest in the design of Tatra vehicles and the work of Hans Ledwinka. We stayed at the Hotel Tatra which is on the same site as the Museum and both of which are outside the main town which we did not visit during our short stay. The hotel was in the modern style, ten floors, of which the first five were used as business premises, this in no way detracted from the convenience of the guests. There is a large dining room and an adjacent bar and an additional more comfortablel bar close to the hotel entrance that sells what must be the cheapest beer in the Republic at 9 Crowns!
