Paris- English lang. assistant/francophile style To quote (somewhat tackily) Gertrude Stein, "America is my country and Paris is my hometown". I am in love with Paris and that is something I won't be able to ever shake off. There is so much to love about it, but I definitely understand why some hate it, because sometimes you need to just give it some time. I spent about 8 months there teaching english, and have gone there on numerous short trips as well. Please feel free to ask me any questions if you're planning on heading over there, I know quite a few great (and affordable) places to eat, places to shop, hotels, clubs, etc... |
Mais oui, Cathedral Notre Dame! Obviously, a must see. The service is really quite beautiful, even if what is being said is unintelligible. Beware of mass amounts of birds and sometimes equally offensive fellow tourists! By the way, there is also an interesting museum over there that shows the history of Notre Dame and the Ile St. Louis/Paris. |
